Gottlieb, 1893 - 1979, Anna Eich, 1894 - 1981, Magdalena (Lena) Finn, 1899 - 1997, Frank Ostendorf, 1902 -, Elizabeth Farmer, 1903 -, Rose Skaggs, 1905. Interment St. Francis Cemetery, Randolph, NE. Early resident Dies at Her Home Mrs. Christina Ostendorf, 88, Randolph community, died Tuesday, November 15 at her home. She had been a semi-invalid five years previous to that time. Funeral services will be Friday morning at St. Frances church at 9:30 with burial in St. Frances cemetery. The body will lie in state at the home at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Eich, from Thursday until Friday morning. A native of Germany, she came to this country when 18 and settled at West Point, NE. Except for two years at Brighton, CO. ,Randolph had since been her home. Marie Christina Ortmeier was born April 15, 1861 at Westphalen, Germany and came to America when she was 18. The family settled at West Point, and she was married there 1887 to Adolph Ostendorf. They lived there six years, then in 1893 moved to McLean, and in 1908 to Randolph. In 1910, they moved to Brighton, CO, living there two years and they came back to Randolph. In 1912, Mr. Ostendorf died in 1918. Mrs. Ostendorf moved to Randolph, where she had resided. She is survived by three sons, Henry of Randolph, Frank of Oakland, CA and Fred of San Francisco, CA: six daughters, Lena Finn, Anna Eich, Rose Ostendorf, all of Randolph, Sr.Gottlieb, OSF, of Milwaukee, WI, Mary Bojorques of San Jose,CA; one brother, Max Ortmeier of Orion,SD, one sister Mary Plantenberg of Crofton; 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, four sons preceded her in death, all dying infancy, five brothers and one sister also preceded her in death. W. H. Steckelberg, mortician in charge of arrangements.
