Description	:	SPANGLER,CHRISTINA TENIA—Tenia Stutzman Spangler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Stutzman, was born March 26, 1860, near Iowa City, Ia. She died at her far home six and one-half miles southeast of Geneva, Neb., at 6:34 p.m. Sunday, January 28, 1940, at the age of 79 years, 10 months and 2 days. She was married to George W. Read More	SPANGLER,CHRISTINA TENIA—Tenia Stutzman Spangler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Stutzman, was born March 26, 1860, near Iowa City, Ia. She died at her far home six and one-half miles southeast of Geneva, Neb., at 6:34 p.m. Sunday, January 28, 1940, at the age of 79 years, 10 months and 2 days. She was married to George W. Spangler January 12, 1882, in LaGrange County, Illinois. This union was blessed with two children, Bertha and Frank. In 1890 she, with her family, moved to Plattsmouth, Neb., and in 1893 she again moved, this time to the home where she died. She and Mr. Spangler spent forty-five productive, happy years together on this farm in Chelsea Township, Fillmore County. Mr. Spangler died April 29, 1939. She confessed Christ and was baptized in the Lutheran Church as a girl of fourteen years and lived and died in that faith. She was a faithful wife and loving mother and neighbor. Those remaining to cherish her memory are her daughter, Bertha Spangler Weldon, of Elkhard, Ind., her son Frank Spangler of Indianola, Ia., five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, also one brother, David Stutzman of Muskegon, Mich. The funeral was held at the Hrubesky Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 31. Rev. William Kilburn officiated. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery.
