Description	:	Daily Freeman Journal Wed. 9 Mar 1966 CROSE RITES HERE FRIDAY Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Crose, 76, lifelong Webster City resident, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran church with the Rev. R.M. Roden and Steve Larson officiating. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Foster funeral home until 9:30 Friday morning when it will be taken to the church. Mrs. Crose died Tuesday morning at her home, 707 1/2 Second St. She had been in ill health the past two years. Clara House, daughter of John and Clara L. House, was born May 24, 1889, at Webster City, where she was reared and educated. She was united in marriage March 23, 1908, to Elmer T. Hanen. They made their home in the Webter City area. She was preceded in death by her husband May 3, 1927. She later moved into Webster City, and was employed at the Fareway store for several years and later at Earl's Pay-n-Takit. She was united in marriage July 29, 1952, to Ralph Crose and the couple made their home in Webster City. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son and one daughter who died in infancy; four brothers and one sister. She is survived by five sons, Ray Hanen, Austin, Texas, Louis, Harold, Elmer, Jr., and Max Hanen, all of Webster City; eight grandchildren; two step-sons, Estelle Crose, Webster City, and Dennis Crose, Des Moines; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Olson, Webster City and Mrs. Eugene (Stella) Boylan, Iowa Falls; also several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran church, the American Legion Auxillary and a former member of the Women of the Moose.
