Description	:	Clara was the daughter of Charles Sweet and Sarah Elizabeth Bates. Clara's 1st child was an unnamed son born on Dec 13, 1885 in Columbia, NH. She was 16 years old, the father was not named. This child was living but had died before the 1900 census. Her 2nd child was Augusta May Sweet/Danforth, born on Nov 15, 1891 in Columbia, NH. The father was Harley Hall Danforth, son of Joseph H. Danforth and Drusilla R. Wyley. There is no record of them officially marrying, and 2 years later he married in ME listing... This child was living but had died before the 1900 census. Her 2nd child was Augusta May Sweet/Danforth, born on Nov 15, 1891 in Columbia, NH. The father was Harley Hall Danforth, son of Joseph H. Danforth and Drusilla R. Wyley. There is no record of them officially marrying, and 2 years later he married in ME listing it as his 1st marriage. Augusta was always listed as Sweet. The birth certificate didn't have a name for her, and it wasn't stamped as illegitimate, as was often done back then. Clara's 3rd child was George Harold Sweet, born on Feb 16, 1893 in Columbia, NH. His father was Henry C. Graham, son of Thomas Graham and Jennie Scott. Clara and Henry were not married. In 1900 he married Eliza J. (Barrows) Smith in Whitefield, NH and died May 6, 1916 in St. Johnsbury, VT and is buried in Old Overlook Cemetery in East Concord, VT. Clara's next two children were twins Mary Jane Sweet and Liesha Sweet, born Jul 1895. Their father was David Loughron. He was possibly the son of Edward Loughron. In 1870 Columbia, NH there was a household with Nancy (Loughron) Toland & husband Patrick Toland. She was 26yrs old, born in Ireland, and daughter of Edward Loughron,, and their 2 month old son; a David Loughron, 23yrs old, born in Ireland (his death record listed parents as Michael Loughron & Alice Maynard); Lecia/Liesha Loughron, 21yrs old, born in Ireland (parents not verified); another David Loughron, 10yrs old, born NH (this one was the father of Clara's twins... his parents aren't known yet); and John Loughron, 8yrs old, born in NH (parents not verified but apparently the brother of the 10 yr old David). It doesn't seem that the younger David would be a brother to the older David, because parents don't usually give sons the same name. None of these people can be found after this 1870 census except Nancy and the older David; then the younger David as the father of the twin girls. In 1900 Clara is living with her parents, listed as Clara Sweet, single, but as having 6 children of which 5 are living. There are 5 children listed as the grandchildren, and all their last names are Sweet. They were Agusta, George, Mary J and & Leisha, and Aleck Sweet (he was actually Alec Charles Morris). Any I have verified all have gone by the name Sweet, listing Clara as their mother. Also living in the household was Peter Morse (father of Clara's next 2 children); and his brother Joseph Morris & his son Tommy, age 12. The next child born was Alec Charles Morris on May 16, 1898. Peter Morris was the son of Alex Morris & Louise Cavanaugh. He was an Indian from Canada. There is no record of them marrying, but in her next marriage she was listed as Carrie Morrison (should have been Morris), but it is still unknown if they married officially. In that 1900 census Peter is listed as married (and having married about 1874) so he had a wife somewhere that he hadn't divorced yet. About 1904 her sister Margaret married (possibly) Joseph Morris, Peter's brother. Clara's next child was a stillborn daughter on Nov 12, 1900 in Columbia. She was just listed as Morris, no first name, Color: Red, and her father was listed as Peter Morris. She was listed as her 7th child. Peter Morris died on Sep 6. 1904 in West Stewartstown, NH at the Coos County Alms House. He was listed as a pauper, age 60, and no marital status was listed. He died on Phthisis. He is buried in the Coos County Alms House Cemetery. On March 29, 1907 in West Stewartstown, NH she married William "Willie" Young, son of Iretus Young and Nancy Finette Blodgett. It was his 1st marriage and her 2nd; she was listed as Carrie Morrison, widowed. They didn't have any children. Age: 44yrs 0mos 15dys Note: After her death William married her sister Margaret on Dec 30, 1916 in Stratford. Clara and Margaret's other sister, Mary Sweet, married William's brother Erastus Young in 1900.
