Her Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 3, 2012 at the Riverview United Methodist Church with burial at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in Huron. Visitation, with the family present, will from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, February 2, at the Welter Funeral Home in Huron; or one hour prior to the service at the Church on Friday. Clara Ann Tschetter, the daughter of John and Katie Tschetter, was born on October 23, 1925 in Huron, SD. She attended country school. Clara married Glen C. Miller on September 7, 1946 in Huron, SD. The couple moved to the Hitchcock area where they owned and operated a farm until 1983, when they moved to Huron, SD. Clara attended the Riverview United Methodist Church in Huron. She was also a member of the William Reaves American Legion Post #7 Women's Auxillary, the Forrest McMullen Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1776 Women's Auxillary, and the Moose Lodge. She enjoyed cooking canning, gardening, and spending time with her family. Grateful for having shared in Clara's life, are her 3 sons: Marvin Miller, of Huron, SD, Dale (Susan) Miller, of Aurora, CO, and Rick (Julie) Miller, of Hitchcock, SD; 7 grandchildren: Douglas (Tara) Miller, Nicholas Miller, Anthony Miller, Shawn (Paula) Miller, Shannon (Chad) Schelhaas, Jacob (Mandy Maynard) Miller, and Chad (Terri) Miller; 13 great-grandchildren; and sister, Emma Becker, of Huron, SD. Clara was preceded in death by her parents; husband Glen in 2002; infant son, Keith Miller; 2 brothers, Alfred and Jake Tschetter; and sister, Elsie Walters.
