Deceased had been in good health previous to a fall from which she received injuries and although strong hopes were sustained for her recovery, she passed peacefully away to the great beyond at the age of 64 years. Deceased had been in good health previous to a fall from which she received injuries and although strong hopes were sustained for her recovery, she passed peacefully away to the great beyond at the age of 64 years. She will be greatly missed in the home circle, also by a host of friends. Deceased was a faithful member of St. James Lutheran Church and the funeral service was conducted by her pastor, Rev. Seville, at the home on Friday afternoon. The hymns: "Asleep in Jesus," "A Few More Years Shall Roll," "Nearer, My God, to Thee," and" Abide With Me" being selected. She leaves to mourn the loss of a devoted mother, six sons and three daughters; Ellard, Leon, and William, residing at Branch LaHave; Harry and Ray of Bridgewater; Laurie of Lower Branch; May, Mrs. Mahar of Kentville; Lilla, Mrs. Percy Watts, of Prince Edward Island; Alma, Mrs. Edmund Hubley, of Bridgewater; also twenty-three grand-children and one great-grandchild. One brother, Isaac Meisner, of Stanley Section, survives her also. The remains were laid to rest beside her husband and son, Leland, who predeceased her a number of years ago. NOTE: Clara's parents were Leonard STEPHEN and Lavinia (Ritcey) Meisner.
