The couple lived and farmed south of Plainview until retiring in 1968 when they moved to an acreage on the edge of Plainview. They joined the United Methodist Church in Plainview in 1959. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie; her parents; one, sister; two brothers and one sister-in-law. Survivors include one daughter, Margaret and husband, Kenny Mosel of Neligh; two sons, Larry and wife, Lois Petersen of Plainview, Dennis and wife ArIa Petersen of Norfolk; 16 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren; one Sister, Ella. Senhert of Spring Park Minn.; one sister-in-law, Rhoda Myers of Plainview; one brother-in-law, Damon Joyce of Plymouth, Minn. and many nieces and nephews.
