Mrs. Clauff died Wednesday afternoon, July 27, in a Genoa [NE] rest home. Clara Elizabeth Morgan was born February 18, 1876, at Northfield, IA. About 1903, she and her family came to Nebraska where she spent most of her life on farms between Central City and Fullerton, spending the last few years of her life in Fullerton. She was a member of the Fullerton Methodist Church. Married Charles Edward Clauff Apr 19, 1896 at Beaconsfield, Ringgold Co, IA. Mr. Clauff died July 27, 1947, just 13 years to the day before Mrs. Clauff's death. She is survived by two sons, John Clauff of Omaha [NE] and Marvin Clauff of Clarks [NE]; three daughters, Mrs. Minnie Butt of Central City, Mrs. Mildred Moore of Giltner [NE] and Mrs. Frank Major of Fullerton; 12 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
