She graduated from Liberty High School and then attended Lincoln School of Commerce. She married Lars Christian Jensen September 18, 1931, in Beatrice and lived in Lincoln for eight years. She and her family then lived in Wymore, Beatrice, and Virginia where she operated a grocery store and then worked at the Post Office until her retirement. Survivors: husband, Lars; son, Frank Martin Jensen of Virginia; daughter, Helen Delores Carnes and husband Don of Lincoln; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Josephine and Anton Broz and a sister, Rose Schultz. Interment Virginia cemetery, Virginia, NE.
