Foster, died at 12:05 a.m. Nov. 29, 1990, at Sunnyslope Care Center in Ottumwa. She was born Sept. 17, 1899, in Schuyler County, Mo., to James Manford and Sidney Margaret Bass Spragur. She married Esper W. White on Nov. 9, 1917; he died March 29, 1964. Foster, died at 12:05 a.m. Nov. 29, 1990, at Sunnyslope Care Center in Ottumwa. She was born Sept. 17, 1899, in Schuyler County, Mo., to James Manford and Sidney Margaret Bass Spragur. She married Esper W. White on Nov. 9, 1917; he died March 29, 1964. She was a resident of Ottumwa since 1924, except from May 1987 to Nov. 1990, when she was a resident at Friends Residential Care in Bloomfield. She was employed by Park Chemical Company and John Morrell & Co. She is survived by two sons, Don R. and Bob G. of Ottumwa; a daughter, Marcella Gillispie of Sterling Ill.; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and a brother, Walter Spargur of Bloomfield. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Luella Piersol and infant daughter, Emma Mae; two sisters, Viola Leedom and Emma Bradley; and four brothers, Carl, Arch, Roy, and Bob Spargur. The service will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa, the Rev. Barry Stewart of Albia Road Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Ottumwa. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Pallbearers will be Tony Schooley, Steve Wetrich, Paul Watson, Marty and Dean Miller, and Charles Spargur.
