Description	:	OBITUARY Mrs. Clara Shobe, 90, 207 Wagner Ave. died at 6:30 P.M. yesterday at her home. Her death was due to complications of a one year illness. She had been bedfast for four months. A native of Shelby County, she was born April 24, 1873 the daughter of George and Elizabeth Barnhart Werling. In 1890 she was married to Jacob Schweitzer who preceded her in death in March of 1924. Her death was due to complications of a one year illness. She had been bedfast for four months. A native of Shelby County, she was born April 24, 1873 the daughter of George and Elizabeth Barnhart Werling. In 1890 she was married to Jacob Schweitzer who preceded her in death in March of 1924. On May 8, 1935 she was married to William Shobe who died on Jan. 18, 1956. Surviving are three children, Alexander Schweitzer, R.R. 4; Mrs. Isabelle Hengstler, 218 Wagner Ave. and Roma Schweitzer, R.R. 2; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ed Werling, 608 N. Main St., Sidney; and two half-brothers, George Werling of Dayton and Pete Werling of Wapakoneta. A son Bernard died in 1920 and a step-son, Albert, died in 1960. A brother William also is deceased. Mrs. Shobe was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers. Requiem high mass will be sung at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Church with the Rev. Herbert Eilerman, C.PP.S. celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at the Heinl and Son Funeral Home after 7 P.M. tonight. The Christian Mothers will say the rosary at 8 P.M. Friday.
