Description	:	OBITUARY-Wapakoneta newspaper William M. Shobe, 86, of 207 Wagner Ave., retired employee of the Standard Oil Co. died at 6:25 A.M. Wednesday in his home following an illness of one week. He was born Aug. 10, 1869, in Allentown, and was married to Irene Young in 1898. She died in 1921. Read More	OBITUARY-Wapakoneta newspaper William M. Shobe, 86, of 207 Wagner Ave., retired employee of the Standard Oil Co. died at 6:25 A.M. Wednesday in his home following an illness of one week. He was born Aug. 10, 1869, in Allentown, and was married to Irene Young in 1898. She died in 1921. He then married Clara Werling Schweitzer in 1935, and she survives. He was a member of the St. Joseph's catholic Church and the Holy Name Society. Several years ago he received a 50-year pin from Standard Oil. He is survived, in addition to the widow, by two daughters, Mrs. Herschel Carmen, Frankfort, Ind., and Mrs. Joseph Scully, Sidney; three stepchildren, Alex and Roma Schweitzer and Mrs. Isabel Hengstler, all of Wapakoneta; a sister, Mrs. C. R. Reese, Lima; six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Requiem High Mass will be sung at 9:30 A.M. Saturday in the St. Joseph's Catholic Church, the Rev. Werner Rauh, celebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Holy Name Society of the church will meet at 7:30 P.M. Friday in the Heinl & Kile Funeral Home to recite the Rosary.
