Description	:	Clara M. Eves, 97, of Tipton, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021, while under the care of Hospice at Prairie Hills Assisted Living in Tipton. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all who plan to attend both the visitation and services, are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing within groups. Visitation will be Noon to 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 3, at Fry Funeral Home in Tipton. A memorial fund has been established for the Tipton Senior Center in her memory. Clara Mae Dallege was born August 11, 1923, in Cedar County, the daughter of Vance and Nellie (Buckman) Dallege. She attended Sandy Hook Country School. She married Eugene Merle Eves on November 23, 1941, at the Rochester Methodist Church in Rochester. Together they farmed west of Tipton, until they retired in 1957 and built a new home in Tipton. She was a homemaker and worked at DeWayne's Flower Shop in Tipton for several years. She and Eugene enjoyed traveling around the United States and spent many winters down south. Eugene preceded her in death on November 5, 2001. She was a member of the United Methodist Women, Order of the King's Daughters and was a board member of the Tipton Senior Center. She enjoyed crocheting, hand quilting, jigsaw puzzles and was active at the Tipton Senior Center. Above all, she loved the time she spent with her family. Surviving are one daughter, Barbara Cawiezell of Tipton; one son-in-law, Ronald Blick of Atalissa; six grandchildren, Lauri Lehn, Robin (Jeanette) Werling, Shelly (Darrin) Lett, Joseph (Kandice) Blick, Kori Blick and April (Aaron) Schrock; 12 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Harley (Dee) Dallege of Marion; two sisters-in-law, Florence Dallege of Tipton and Caroline Hinty of Pleasantville. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, Donna Blick, two sons-in-law, Eldon Werling and Walter Cawiezell one grandson-in-law, Daniel Lehn, two sisters, Edna Ahrens and Frances Ahrens and four brothers, Lester, Leo, Floyd and Darrell Dallege.
