Her death occurred following a five months illness. The deceased spent her youthful days in Plattsmouth and was reared to young womanhood in that city, where she graduated from the public school. Read More	Mrs. Clara Schwartz Funeral Here Friday Clara Teipel was born at Plattsmouth on February 20, 1889 and died at the St. Joseph hospital in Omaha on October 14, 1942 at the age of 53 years, 7 months and 24 days. Her death occurred following a five months illness. The deceased spent her youthful days in Plattsmouth and was reared to young womanhood in that city, where she graduated from the public school. After teaching school there for a short time, she came to Creighton in 1909. For several years she was employed as a clerk in the S.J.G. Irwin store. In 1912 her marriage to Henry Schwartz occurred at Creighton. Three children were born to this union, all of whom are living. Following their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Schwartz resided on farms west of Winnetoon and southwest of Creighton. Shortly after the death of her husband in 1917, Mrs. Schwartz with her family moved to Creighton, which has been her home up to the time of her illness and passing. Those who will miss her are two sons, James of Creighton, Bernard of Clinton, Ia.; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Pollack and a granddaughter, Linda Clara Pollack of Arlington, Va. Other relatives, who mourn her departure are three brothers, Henry and Fritz Teipel, Creighton; Chas. Teipel, Verdigre; two sisters, Mrs. Augusta Hall, Omaha and Mrs. E.D. Biglow, Colome, S.D. and numerous friends she had accumulated during her long residence in Creighton. The body arrived here by train Thursday afternoon and funeral services were held on Friday morning at 8:00 o'clock from the St. Ludger Catholic church, Rev Father Liborius had charge of the rites and celebrated requiem high mass. Interment was in the St. Ludger cemetery. Numerous friends of the departed woman were present to pay their last respects. Pallbearers were Joseph P. Ryan, Dr. G.F. Printy, Paul Naprstek, John Burns, Leo Hammling, Otto Baleweg. ...The Creighton News 22 Oct 1942
