Description	:	Louisa Zelman was born at Province of Hanover, Germany March 3, 1856. She married Charles Teipel in 1876. They came to America in 1892, settling in Illinois, where they resided for a short time, before moving to Iowa, then, to Plattsmouth, Nebr. The family lived for at Plattsmouth for 23 years. Here her husband passed away in 1909. That same year, she moved to Knox county with her family. This was her home until she passed away December 13, 1914 at the age of 58 years, 9 months and 10 days. Here her husband passed away in 1909. That same year, she moved to Knox county with her family. This was her home until she passed away December 13, 1914 at the age of 58 years, 9 months and 10 days. She was the mother of nine children, two of whom died in infancy. Seven are left to mourn the loss of a good, kind Christian mother, namely: Herman and Mrs. Clara Schwartz of Creighton, Charles, Julia, Henry and Fred at home and seven grandchildren. Brief funeral services were held at the home northeast of Winnetoon, Tuesday morning at 10, conducted by Rev. Birch of Center. The remains were brought to Winnetoon and shipped to Plattsmouth, where the final services were held in the German Lutheran church, Wednesday afternoon.
