Description	:	Mrs. Clara L. Stewart, 76, of 808 W. Franklin St., passed away at 1:45 p.m. Monday afternoon in a local hospital following an illness of two years. Born in Ft. Smith, Ark. December 26, 1885 she was the daughter of the late James A. and Miriam Wright Greene. Her husband, Sidney Stewart died November 2, 1947. Mrs. Stewart had lived in Monroe since 1939. Quirk, of Washington, D. C., and Mrs. Elmer Carter, of Albuquerque, N. Mexico. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. from St. Paul's Episcopal Church, conducted by the Rev. George R. Peters. Interment will follow in Monroe cemetery. Arrangements by Harris-Wells Funeral Directors. Wright, 514 North Thirteenth street, was one of the interesting events of the week. The bride and groom were accompanied to Mr. Wright's by Mr. and Mrs. Roof, Mrs. Rogers and Miss Hazel Knoble. The bride's gown of blue silk with black picture hat was most becoming. Mr. and Mrs. Lord are at home to their friends at 109 North A street.
