McDowell and D. B. Sorden officiating. Music for the service was in charge of Miss Mabel Carlile. Clara Viola Lambert, daughter of Daniel F. and Harriet A. Lambert, was born in Lamoni, Iowa, March 8, 1885, and passed away in Fort Scott, Kan., June 3, 1939, being at the time of her death 54 years, 2 months, and 26 days old. Her childhood and youth were spent in Lamoni, where she was married July 25, 1915, to Victor L. Krucker. The greater part of their married life was spent in Miami, Okla., where she leaves a myriad of friends from all walks of life. They moved to Fort Scott in April of this year. She became a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when 12 years of age and was a faithful worker in the music and women's department of the Miami branch and the Spring River District. Those who knew "Crissie" as she was familiarly called, will remember her for her sweet, cheerful disposition, her many deeds of kindness, and her courageous attitude in the face of adversity. She has been a great physical sufferer for a number of years, but her faith in the divine wisdom of all things never wavered and she was submissive to his will at the last even though life was very sweet to her. She leaves her husband, one sister, Mrs. Lena J. Graham, of Kansas City, Mo., and a nephew, Kenneth L. Graham, also of Kansas City.
