Clarence served in the US Army during World War II and while stationed in Fort Bliss, Texas, he met his future wife Beatrice Glaunert and they were married on March 3, 1945 in Gainsville, TX. In 1965 they moved to Columbus where Clarence worked at Gerhold's, M&H Gas, and later worked for Becton Dickinson until he retired in 1987. Clarence was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
