She lived in Lincoln, Nebraska, as a youth, attending Sisters of Blessed Sacrament Grade School, and when her father changed jobs, they lived in Dodge, Wisconsin and in Winona, Minnesota where she attended Winona High School. Later as a young adult, Beatrice moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa where she worked at Collins Radio. She met her future husband while he was stationed in the U.S. Army in Fort Bliss, Texas. In 1965, they moved to Columbus where Beatrice worked at Dale Electronics, Becton Dickinson, and later at Mellers Drive In Photo. Beatrice was a loving mother and wife. She loved to cook, bake, and spend time in her garden and took great pride in her flowers every spring. She especially enjoyed family gatherings, like the many picnics and so many holiday get-togethers with all the family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved her family and enjoyed her many trips back to Winona, Minnesota with her family.
