The funeral of Clarence C Ward took place from the ME Church, Tuesday at 10 am. The house was filled to overflowing by those who knew him but to love. The flowers were beautiful in the extreme and came from the hands of those who show by their bestowal sympathy in the hour of grief. Rev Briggs conducted the funeral services, after which the remains were deposited in the old Nettle Creek Cemetery, to wait the summons arise.
