Description	:	Clarence Clifford Clark was born September 24, 1929 in Geneva to Clarence Theodore Clark and Louise Francis Kness Clark. He passed away July 21, 2005, at the Omaha V. A. Hospital at the age of 75 years, nine months and 27 days. Clarence graduated from Fairmont High School in 1948. He was drafted into the U.S. Army on June 11th, 1952 and served as an Army Engineer in Korea. Read More	Clarence Clifford Clark was born September 24, 1929 in Geneva to Clarence Theodore Clark and Louise Francis Kness Clark. He passed away July 21, 2005, at the Omaha V. A. Hospital at the age of 75 years, nine months and 27 days. Clarence graduated from Fairmont High School in 1948. He was drafted into the U.S. Army on June 11th, 1952 and served as an Army Engineer in Korea. Together, they raised his step-daughter, Ellen Irene Lanning and daughters, Mary Carmen Lloyd and Debra Kaye Rohla. He worked for Wilkins Steel Building Company from 1859-1977. Clarence spent most of his life sharing his music with others. He played in a band with Joe Dailey, the Goldenaires, Ivory and Strings; Dad, Bruce and Ollie; and the 4 misfits. He played at the Grand Island Veteran’s Home; churches and anywhere else he could find. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, woodworking, visits from his family, cigars, feeding his squirrel friends and Wendy’s chili. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Louise; wife Mary Ann and sister Clara Thurman. He is survived by his daughters, Mary Carmen and husband Bob Lloyd of Stoughton, Wisc., Debra Kaye and husband, Duane Rohla of Kearney; step-daughter, Ellen Irene Lanning of Portland, Ore.; grandchildren Traci Lloyd, Christi Lloyd, Courtney Rohla, Jacob Rohla and Cheyenne Carman; great-grandchild, Ethan Carman; nephews Grant, Jeffery and Gregory Thurman. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 25th from the Farmer & Son Funeral Home in Geneva with Chaplain Bill Forbes officiating. Music was provided by soloist Jolene Berke, who sang “Borning Cry” and “When the Night is Falling.” Pallbearers were provided by Geneva VFW Post No. 7102.
