Sam was born in Frederick, Md on May 21, 1958. He graduated from Thomas Johnson High . Sam was employed by MC Dean Inc., Chantilly, Va.He loved taking walks with his dogs, Boomer and Kirby, doing home-improvements, laughing, being with his family, and having fun with friends.Sam was a beloved son and brother, a thoughtful and warmhearted husband, a loving father, an affectionate grandfather, and an amazingly-genuine friend to many, but above all he was a servant to his Lord and savior. He will surely be missed by all who knew him.Sam is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Rhonda Wiles; his parents Dorothy and John Witmer of Frederick; a sister, Betty Neilson, of Mt Airey; a Brother Daniel Wiles;Sr., of Fairfield, Pa; a son, Sammy Wiles, of Middletown; a step-daughter Carla Steele of Laurel Hill, Florida; a step-son, Brian Miller of Fayetteville, North Carolina; a granddaughter, Chloe Wiles; ten step-grandchildren, and four step-great grandchildren. Sam is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Elmer Wiles, Sr. Funeral services will be held on Monday December 16, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD with the Rev. Dr. Larry Rickard officiating.The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday December 16, 2013.Interment will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Middletown, MDIn lieu of flowers please consider making a memorial donation in Sam's memory to the National Cancer Society or to Hospice of the Washington County, Inc.
