Description	:	SCRANTON- Clark W. Gordon, 67, Scranton, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at his home. He was born May 10, 1942, in Coffey County, Kansas, the son of John Herbert and Dorthea Harrison Gordon. He grew up in Waverly, and graduated from Waverly High School in 1960. Gordon, 67, Scranton, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at his home. He was born May 10, 1942, in Coffey County, Kansas, the son of John Herbert and Dorthea Harrison Gordon. He grew up in Waverly, and graduated from Waverly High School in 1960. Clark was a cement mason for many years. He also farmed in the Scranton Community. He served in the Kansas Army National Guard, and was a member of the Scranton Township Board for many years. He was a member of the Central Church of Christ, Topeka, Kansas. He married Carolyn P. Cellar, September 4, 1964, at Waverly, Kansas. She survives at the home. Other survivors include two sons, Kevin Gordon, and his wife Kristen, Andale, KS, and Corey Gordon, and his wife Gretchen, Prairie Village, KS; a brother, James Gordon, Rossville, KS; three sisters, Beverly Kleinsorge, Osage City, KS, Lillian Kleinsorge, Gardner, KS, and Linda O'Bannion, Waverly, KS; four grandchildren, Dylan and Abigail Gordon, Andale, KS, and Parker and Estelle Gordon, Prairie Village, KS; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 20, 2010, at the Cross Road Community Church, Scranton, Kansas. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, at Waverly Cemetery, Waverly, Kansas. Mr. Gordon will lie in state from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and family visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday, at the church in Scranton.
