Description	:	CLAUDE WILLIAM SEEL was born in Otis, Colorado, on December 18, 1929, to William T. Seel and Pearl Matthews. He attended Burdette and Lone Star Schools and graduated in 1948. He was raised by his Aunt Lizzie and Uncle Joe Matthews following the death of his mother. Claude married Betty Ann Souser on September 07, 1952. Three children were born to this union: Claudia Ann, Stanley Jay, and Kenneth. For over forty years, Claude took great pride in maintaining roads for Washington County, Colorado. Seel and Pearl Matthews. He attended Burdette and Lone Star Schools and graduated in 1948. He was raised by his Aunt Lizzie and Uncle Joe Matthews following the death of his mother. Claude married Betty Ann Souser on September 07, 1952. Three children were born to this union: Claudia Ann, Stanley Jay, and Kenneth. For over forty years, Claude took great pride in maintaining roads for Washington County, Colorado. He also enjoyed farming and serving as a volunteer fireman for Otis. Following the death of his wife in 1994 and retirement, Claude moved to Berryville, Arkansas, to be near Stan and his family. He lived on a small farm where he found pleasure raising chickens, gardening, fishing, and spending time with his grandkids. He also spent much of his spare time in his workshop. On July 03, 2015, Claude passed away at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Kenneth; and his wife, Betty. Left to mourn his passing are his daughter, Claudia and her husband Kenneth Kleid of Flower Mound, Texas; and their children, Kendall and Christopher; and, his son, Stan and his wife, Schel Seel of Berryville, Arkansas; and their children, Alaina and Aidan. A graveside memorial service will be at Otis, Colorado Cemetery at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Church, 510 Lincoln Street, Otis Colorado 80743 or Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, Arkansas 72762.
