| Description | : | From the St. Paul Republican, October 19, 1905, page 5, transcribed by Linda Berney: Another Brakeman Killed - Clay Crites, a freight brakeman who ran between Aurora and Sargent, was killed at Marquette a few days ago. He stumbled while switching cars and had both legs cut off, dying from the effects of the shock a few hours afterward. His home was at Aurora, but he was buried at Central City, where he formerly resided. He left a widow, and five fatherless children. |
