Read More	CLAYTON 'TED' WRIGHT - Thursday - July 2, 1998 Omak - Clayton "Ted" Wright, 73, of Omak, passed away Tuesday evening, June 30, 1998, at Central Washington Hospital. He was born Feb. 28, 1925, in Chelan to William and Flora Bell (Hildrith) Wright. He has been a resident of Omak since 1955, moving from Chelan. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theater. In 1941, Beverly Ann McAuley and Ted Wright were married. After her death, he was later married to Juanita (Yost) Evans on April 13, 1985, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho Ted was a car salesman since 1945 and had worked with various dealers in the area and had owned his own dealership in Tonasket. He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and a member of the VFW Post No. 15049 and Good Sam Travel Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling and especially raising appaloosa horses. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Wright, of the home; his children, Beverly Meyers of Bothell, Judy Steen of Beaverton, Ore., Clayton L. Wright of Arlington, and William A. Wright of Seattle; his stepchildren, Richard Evans of Tacoma, Robert Evans of Phoenix, David Evans of Ontario, Ore., Dennis Evans of Lacey, Patricia Eggleston of Wenatchee, Victoria Evans of Midvale, Wash., and Larry Evans of Seattle; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; 11 stepgrandchildren; and one stepgreat-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, two infant children and his brother, Don Wright. At the request of Ted Wright, there will be no service.
