Active in the Pukwana community, she lent a hand to others whenever possible. Cleaota loved traveling, especially the drive there. She enjoyed the outdoors and having her grandchildren, nieces and nephews out to the farm. Those grateful for having shared in Cleaota's life include: her 3 children: Duane Douglas Sly and wife, Linda of Platte, William Sly of Springfield, SD, and Judith L. Wynia and husband, Bruce of Platte; a son-in-law, Lonnie Wolcott of Reliance; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Lloyd Priebe and wife, Ailleen of Chamberlain, South Dakota and Caroll D. Priebe and wife, Dorothy of Pukwana, South Dakota; 2 sisters: Irene Zastrow of Gann Valley, and Marcheta Anderson of Pukwana; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Arnold Priebe of Pukwana and many nieces, nephews and friends. Cleaota was preceded in death by: her husband, Duane F. Sly (1983); an infant son, Jerry; a daughter, Cathy Joy Wolcott; her parents, William and Wilhemina Priebe; 2 brothers: Arnold and William (Bud) Priebe and 3 sisters: Laura Priebe, Wilma Fisher and Beulah Larson.
