Description	:	CLEM KERR Clem Kerr son of John and Elizabeth Runnells Kerr was born July 6, 1880 in Scotland County, Missouri, and died February 3 in Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua. On October 31, 1903, he was united in marriage to Ida Cook and to this union, a son Roy was born. He became a member of the Asbury Chapel in 1905, later transferring to the Cantril Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and nine brothers and sisters and a great-grandson, Vaughn Shaw. Survivors include his wife, Ida and son Roy and wife of Pleasanton, Calif.; three grandchildren, Clem Kerr and family of Newark, Calif.; George Kerr and family of San Pablo, Calif.; Mrs. Francis Shaw and family of Pleasanton, Calif.; eight great-grandchildren in California, nieces and nephews and many more friends. Services were held February 6 at Cantril Methodist Church at 2 p.m. with Rev. Herbert Phillips officiating. Burial was at Harness Cemetery. Source: Van Buren Co.
