Young, whose death had occurred several days previous in Salem, Iowa, while she and her husband were en route from the east to their home in this county. Mrs. Young had been an invalid for a year and they had left about six weeks ago for Battle Creek, Michigan, hoping that a course of treatment at the sanitarium at the place would be beneficial, but her case was decided by the attending physicians to be incurable, and they had started for home, making the trip by easy stages. Death occurred at the home of Mrs. Young's brother, the Rev. Scott Kight, of Salem, Iowa, last Friday morning, the immediate cause being paralysis of the bowels. Mrs. Young was 37 years of age and was born in Barton, Alleghany county, Maryland. She came to Montana with a sister in 1883, and was married the next year to M. J. Young, the family removing to Belt about nine years ago. A husband and two sons, Blanchard and Earl, are left to mourn the loss of a wife and mother. She also leaves two sisters living in Belt, Mrs. John Jeffries and Mrs. Frank T. Heron, a sister in Cheyenne, Wyo., Mrs. Edward McDermott, and another sister, Mrs. Mary Ann Reynolds, of Barnum, W. Va.; and two brothers, Rev. Scott Kight of Salem, Iowa, and Charles Kight of Frostburg, Maryland. The loss of a son about two years ago, was a blow from which Mrs. Young suffered greatly and from which she never entirely recovered.
