Description	:	Obituary from funeral folder (memorial card). Clementine Thomas, daughter of James E. and Minnie Setzer Thomas, was born at Peru, Nebraska on October 22, 1895. She was one of seven daughters. While just a child she moved with the rest of the family to the Brock, Nebraska community where she was to spend the rest of her life. She attended school at the Rosewood rural school and grew to young womanhood in this same community. Read More	Obituary from funeral folder (memorial card). Clementine Thomas, daughter of James E. and Minnie Setzer Thomas, was born at Peru, Nebraska on October 22, 1895. She was one of seven daughters. While just a child she moved with the rest of the family to the Brock, Nebraska community where she was to spend the rest of her life. She attended school at the Rosewood rural school and grew to young womanhood in this same community. Her mother passed away in 1920, and being the eldest daughter at home, Clemma was like a second mother to her sisters. In 1925 her father died, and since that time she had made her home with her sister, Viola (Mrs. E.T. Little) in Brock. In 1921 Clemma was baptized at the Methodist Church in Brock by Rev. Hall and has been a member there since. She was a member of the WSCS, the Kensington and other organizations, and was always willing to help in any way she could. She was always vitally interested in her church. her town, her community, and her many friends In spite of 55 years spent in a wheel chair, she lived her life to the fullest and was happiest when doing for others. Although her health had failed some, she remained active to the last. She passed away quite suddenly and unexpectedly at her home in Brock early Saturday morning having reached the age of 71 years, 3 months, and 19 days. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by two sisters. She leaves to mourn her passing four sisters: Mrs. Mae Todd of Cheyenne, Wyo., Mrs. Leona Brown, Mrs. Edna Young and Mrs. Viola Little, all of Brock. She will be missed by her sisters, her nieces and nephews, who she dearly loved, and by the large circle of friends, many of whom affectionately called her "Aunt Clemma."
