Description	:	Cleo was the daugther of Clyde A. McClellan & Maud E. Etherton. Cleo married Artie Lewis Fellers in 1922 in Kansas. To this union, one daugther, Cleo was born. She was a Graduate of the Mercy School Of Nursing in Fort Scott, KS. She moved to Nevada where she worked for many years as a nurse. She retired and moved, where her daugther and her husband lived in Weimar, Pacer County, California. Read More	Cleo was the daugther of Clyde A. McClellan & Maud E. Etherton. Cleo married Artie Lewis Fellers in 1922 in Kansas. To this union, one daugther, Cleo was born. She was a Graduate of the Mercy School Of Nursing in Fort Scott, KS. She moved to Nevada where she worked for many years as a nurse. She retired and moved, where her daugther and her husband lived in Weimar, Pacer County, California. In her later years, she became blind and was a member of the American Foundation for the Blind and ACB (American Council of the Blind). It was there that She learn to love the passion to listen to audio books on tapes. She attended ACB yearly conventions, where she had many friends and learned to read in Braille. When Cleo became blind, her pastor of her church asked her how she was feelings about the news of going blind? Her responds was, "I always admired & respected Helen Adams Keller. Not the way she died, but the way she lived. She was always my hero, so if she can do it, so can I." Like, Cleo, Helen Adams Keller, also died in her sleep peacefully. Cleo died peacefully in her sleep at the home of her daugther and son in law, Richard & Cleo White in Weimar, Placer County, California. Her body was transported back to Hiattville, Bourbon County, Kansas, where she was born and to be buried at the Hiattville Cemetery, per her request before she died. She was a Grandmother of 4 children, all of whom adored her, as well as her daugther Cleo and many friends. Her husband, Artie died in 1961 and is buried at the Prairie Center Cemetery in Lenexa, Johnson County, Kansas.
