Description	:	Cleo Roselle Gorrell, 65, of Centerville, Kansas died at 7:55 P.M. Sunday, June 28, 2015 at the Arma Health and Rehabilitation in Arma, Kansas. Mrs. Gorrell was born August 16, 1949 at Girard, Kansas; the daughter of Augustine and Cleo Gilbert Mengarelli. Roselle was a school teacher and homemaker who had been a resident of Centerville since 1999. She was raised in Girard and graduated from Girard High School in 1967. She later attended Ft. Read More	Cleo Roselle Gorrell, 65, of Centerville, Kansas died at 7:55 P.M. Sunday, June 28, 2015 at the Arma Health and Rehabilitation in Arma, Kansas. Mrs. Gorrell was born August 16, 1949 at Girard, Kansas; the daughter of Augustine and Cleo Gilbert Mengarelli. Roselle was a school teacher and homemaker who had been a resident of Centerville since 1999. She was raised in Girard and graduated from Girard High School in 1967. She later attended Ft. Scott Comunity Junior College and Pittsburg State University and recieved a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education. She taught at the Najaho reservation in Arizona and the University of Utah. She was a para-professional at the Prairie View School District in Linn County and served on the after school program. She married Dwight Gorrell on November 3, 1981 at Salt Lake City, Utah. Mr. Gorrell survives at the home. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints and attended in Mound City, Kansas. Survivors include her husband, Dwight of the home, two sons, Nathan (Kimberly) Gorrell of Houston, Texas and Bryce (Kristen) Gorrell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, two daughters, Ashli (Quinten) Webber of Westphalia, Kansas and Trista (Nicholas) Bieberle of Iola, Kansas, three sisters, Barbara Babcock of Arma, Beverly Vogel of Topeka, and Rachelle Mengarelli of Arma, two brothers, Gene Mengarelli of Prescott, Arizona and Jimmie Mengarelli of Girard, and seven grandchildren, Molly and Eleanor Gorrell, Trowtt, Bryx and Rayne Webber, Chloe Gorrell, and Jax Bieberle. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be at 10 A.M. Friday, July 3, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1507 S. Rouse, Pittsburg, Kansas with President Andrew Dokos officiating. Burial will be at the Union Cemetery in rural Girard, Kansas. Friends may call 11 A.M. to 4 P.M. Thursday at the Bedene Funeral Home at Arma, Kansas. The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Roselle Gorrell Memorial Fund.
