Description	:	Clifford H. Wilson, one of three children born to Elzy Wilson and Nettie Mae Ahrens Wilson, was born on a farm in Jewell County, Kansas on December 22, 1909. Clifford grew up on the farm and received his schooling at the Steuben School in Jewell County. He lived with his parents and helped with the farming. Wilson, one of three children born to Elzy Wilson and Nettie Mae Ahrens Wilson, was born on a farm in Jewell County, Kansas on December 22, 1909. Clifford grew up on the farm and received his schooling at the Steuben School in Jewell County. He lived with his parents and helped with the farming. On April 19, 1932 he was united in marriage to Elsie J. Higer in the Olive Hill Church where they both attended church. Clifford served on the School Board of montana District in Jewell County for four years. In 1936 they moved to a farm near Edgar, Nebraska. He served on the school board in the Centennial School District # 30, northeast of Edgar for six years and also worked for the soil conservation service for several years. In 1963 he purchased a farm near Deweese, Nebraska, where he and his wife lived until his death due to a long illness. Clifford was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his widow, Elsie; a sister, Ruby McNabb of Superior; a brother, Woodrow and his wife, Beulah of Mankato; eight nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Clifford was a kind and loving husband. He loved his friends and family. He passed away at the Samaritan Home in Hastings on July 23, 1975, at the age of 65 years, 7 months and 1 day. Funeral services were held at the Megrue-Price Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 26, with Pastor Marion Knoell officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, Superior, Nebraska.
