Friend of this City To Enjoy Motor Trip Through East At six o'clock this morning, Rev. Wm. C, Millikan, pastor of the First M. E. Church officiated at a pretty nuptial service at his parsonage which united in marriage Miss Forrest R. Brandt and Mr. Clifford Hunter Friend, both of this city. The young couple were unattended. The bride looked charming in a suit of brown chiffon velvet with a becoming hat and shoes match. Her flowers were bride's roses arranged into a corsage bouquet. Immediately after the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Friend drove to Columbus and enjoyed a wedding breakfast at the Deshler Hotel. From Columbus, they departed on a trip to the East in their Hudson coupe. They will visit Washington, D. C, New York City, Atlantic City and Niagara Falls for the coming two weeks and upon their return to Lancaster, they will be at home with the bridegroom's mother at 525 North Columbus street. Mrs. Friend, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Brandt of 174 East Allen street is a popular young lady. Until recently, she was a sales lady at the C. P. Wiseman. & Co. Store. Mr. Friend who is the younger son of Mrs. Chas. Friend of North Columbus street is proprietor of the Friend garage on East Main street.
