Description	:	Information received from member #:48472901 -----------------"TIP'S GARAGE"---------------- Clifford Peter Ellis, known throughout Blooming Grove Township and the little village of Blooming Grove as "Tip". His father before him brought the family business from the horse and buggy era into the industrial age. Locally called "Tip's Garage", saw the end to horse shoeing and the beginning of repair to broken mechanized farm equipment. He married Ruth Ester Swift, the daughter to John Fremont Swift & Cora Eva (Fields) Ellis. From this union a son Donald and daughter Ann Marceil. Clifford died at the young age of 55 at Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis, Indiana on January 10, 1958. The death certificate under occupation simply reads "Garage Owner".
