Neff Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester, for Clyde D. NEFF, 85, of 1200 Hill St., Rochester, who died at 4 a.m. Monday at his home following an illness. Dr. Sam WRIGHT will officiate, and burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Rochester. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church or the Fulton County Cancer Fund. Mr. Neff was born Sept. 14, 1904 near Kewanna to Thomas and Alfretta BEERY NEFF. He was a lifetime area resident, living many years in the Reiter community near Rochester. On Sept. 13, 1928 in Rochester he married Opal BRINEY, who survives. He was a retired farmer, a member of the First Baptist Church, a former member of the Fulton County Library Board and the Rochester Township Advisory Boad, and had been active in Reiter community activities. Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Phyllis) DAVIDSON, Plymouth, and Mrs. James (Doris) CLEMONS, Greeley, Colo.; two sons, Gerald [NEFF], Naples, Fla., and Roger [NEFF], Rochester; eight grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Zella SMITH and Zora WILSON; a brother, Dean [NEFF], and a grandson, Jeff DAVIDSON. ----- Published in The Rochester Sentinel Wednesday, December 13, 1989 Clyde D.
