Services were held Friday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Shelton with the Rev. Thomas Mackey officiating. Clyde Albers was born Nov. 17, 1958, to Edgar and Violet Doreen (Torske) Albers in Hastings. He grew up in the Holdrege area, graduating from Holdrege High School in 1977. He moved to a farm north of Minden in 1977. On Nov. 17, 1979, he married Julie A. Christensen in Minden. They lived on the farm. He was a welder and shop manager for Hi-Tech in Gibbon, worked part time in the gun department at Cabela's in Kearney and had a farm near Arnold. Survivors are his wife; two sons, Nicholas of Cherry Point, N.C., and Jacob of Minden; and one brother, Wes of Minden. His parents and one sister, Kathy Ramirez, also died in the traffic accident.
