Description	:	Funeral services for Colin Wilson were held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, March 31, at the Presbyterian Church, conducted by the Rev. E. C. Wolters. Hymns were sung by the church choir, Mrs. E. G. Murtaugh, Mrs. F. M. Beverly, Harry Harkness and Fred Cones accompanied by Mrs. E. L. Heilmann, organist. Interment was in the Burlingame Cemetery. Colin Wilson was born in Salmanan, Scotland, April 17, 1858, and died at 2:00 o'clock Saturday afternoon, March 28, 1936, at the home of his son, David Wilson in Burlingame. His age was 77 years, 11 months, 11 days. He had been in failing health for three years. He was united in marriage with Annie Hotchkiss March 10, 1877, in Scotland and to their union were born twelve children of whom ten survive, two children dying in infancy. His wife proceeded him death in 1929. In 1880 he came to America, first settling in Pennsylvania and three months later moving to Osage City, Kansas, where he was joined by his wife and two children from Scotland. In 1883 with his family he moved to Burlingame where he since had made his home. He worked in the mines here and served as city marshal several years ago. Early in life he was baptized in the Presbyterian church. He is survived by his seven daughters, Mrs. Annie Curley, Mrs. Janet Giachino, Burlingame; Mrs. Rebecca Randall, Topeka; Mrs. Nicholas Vardy and Mrs. Christina Bradley, Kansas City, MO.; Mrs. Margaret Zucca, Sheridan, WY.; Mrs. Mary Welsh, Callender, Canada; three sons, David and Edward Wilson, Burlingame; and Colin Wilson, Topeka.
