Description	:	CONNIE LOUISE TEUT April 12, 1941 - September 18, 2021 Connie Louise Teut was born on April 12, 1941, to Harold and Selma (Boger) Lafrentz in Denison, Iowa. She was baptized and later confirmed her faith at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Schleswig. Connie graduated from Schleswig High School with the class of 1959. Read More	CONNIE LOUISE TEUT April 12, 1941 - September 18, 2021 Connie Louise Teut was born on April 12, 1941, to Harold and Selma (Boger) Lafrentz in Denison, Iowa. She was baptized and later confirmed her faith at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Schleswig. Connie graduated from Schleswig High School with the class of 1959. She was united in marriage to Roger Teut and they owned and operated the Schleswig Transfer and Teut Brothers. They later moved to Crete, Nebraska where they opened Teut Inc. Trucking. Not only did she keep the books and work with the customers, but she also drove truck and hauled loads at night. Later in life, Connie moved to Denison she retired from Walmart after 20 years of work. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Denison. Connie enjoyed bird watching and tending to her flower bed. Selfless was a word that described her well, and she never wanted to inconvenience anyone. She was a mother and grandmother to many children in the community. Family was everything to her, especially her son, Todd and his two children: Hadley Ann and Bryce Cooper. Connie passed away unexpectedly at Methodist Jennie Edmondson Hospital on September 18, 2021, at the age of 80 years, five months and six days. Connie was preceded in death by her parents and her infant daughter, J'lynn Teut. She is survived by her son, Todd (Heather) Teut of Lincoln, Nebraska; two grandchildren: Hadley Ann Teut of Weatherford, Oklahoma and Bryce Cooper Teut of Lincoln, Nebraska; long-time friend of 18 years, Steve Schmidt of Schleswig; two siblings: May Hennings of Denison and Don (Joy) Lafrentz of Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021, at the Huebner Funeral Home in Denison. A private graveside service will be held at the Morgan Cemetery in Schleswig. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to her grandchildren's college fund.
