Description	:	Constance Minnie Charnetzki, 82, Kenmare, died Wednesday, March 26, 2014 in the Kenmare hospital. Connie was born September 29, 1931 near Palermo, to Ferdinand and Eleonora (Rasmussen) Andersen. She was raised and educated at Palermo where she graduated from Palermo High School in 1949. Connie married the love of her life, Arvid Charnetzki, on November 18, 1950 in Stanley. Arvid and Connie farmed, operated a dairy and ran a bulk water delivery service. They lived on their farm for 47 years, briefly moving to Blaisdell. In 2005, they moved to Kenmare to be closer to family.... Connie married the love of her life, Arvid Charnetzki, on November 18, 1950 in Stanley. Arvid and Connie farmed, operated a dairy and ran a bulk water delivery service. They lived on their farm for 47 years, briefly moving to Blaisdell. In 2005, they moved to Kenmare to be closer to family. While in Kenmare they became active members of Nazareth Lutheran Church. Following Arvid's death on May 31, 2011 she continued to live in Kenmare. Connie enjoyed playing piano, square dancing and having coffee with her friends and family. She was very active in her grandchildren's lives and followed their sporting events. She was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church where she served on the ladies aid and taught Sunday school and Bible school for many years. She also served as a 4-H Leader for several years. Connie is survived by: her son, Wayne of Kenmare; daughter, Carol Thompson (Mike) of Kenmare; grandchildren, Jason Thompson of Kenmare, Joey Thompson (Brenna) of Minot, Jackie Thompson (friend Jay) of Kenmare and Jordan Thompson (friend Shaya) of Bismarck; great grandson, Cashton Thompson of Minot; sister, Agnes Schneider (friend Milt) of Fargo; brother, Joe Andersen (Shirley) of Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brothers, Roy and Floyd. Funeral: Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Nazareth Lutheran Church, Kenmare. Visitation: Monday, March 31, 2014 from Noon – 5:00 p.m. in Springan Funeral Home, Stanley and Tuesday one hour prior to the service in the church. Interment: Aurelia Cemetery, rural Donnybrook.
