The Flathead Courier Polson, Lake County, Montana Thursday, August 25, 1932 SRING VALLEY WOMAN DIES FROM POISONING Emaline Stone, wife of Leonard M. Stone, of Radio, died at her home at and early hour from poisoning. The family had returned about 11:00 o'clock Sunday night from a visit with friends and before retiring Mrs. Stone took the dose of poison presumably mistaking it for medicine. The poison was in a rather large container and it would have been a simple matter to make a mistake, especially in a room which was not well lighted. She died about 1:30 Monday morning. Mrs. Stone was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N. H. Buchanan and was born in Virginia 25 years ago. She came to the Flathead with her parents when but a child and grew to womanhood here. Besides a husband and 18-month old son, she leaves to mourn her death a father and mother; five brothers, Melvin, Alvin, Worley, Jonas, and Volen, and four sisters, Mrs. Euhbank, of Missoula; Mrs. Hattie Crone and Mrs. Rachel Wagner, of California, and Mrs. Lucy Sturm, of Libby. The funeral services will be held this afternoon from the Methodist church and burial made in Lakeview cemetery. The sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved family. NOTE: Alice Lucille Sturm Moen said Emaline suffered terribly when she was dieing.
