She was born May 11th, 1924 in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee to Franklin P. Morrow and Cora (Halliburton) Morrow. Read More	Yakima Herald Republic Obituary (4/12/2012): Copel L Holwegner, age 87, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday April 10th, 2012. She was born May 11th, 1924 in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee to Franklin P. Morrow and Cora (Halliburton) Morrow. As a young girl Copel moved with her family to the Yakima Valley, settling at a farm in Granger, WA. She attended Liberty School and the Seventh-day Adventist Academy in Granger. She was also a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, attending services in Toppenish, Prosser and most recently Yakima. On July 25th 1946, Copel married her best friend and partner in life, Gerald L. Holwegner. Together they raised a family of four children on a large sheep ranch on the Satus and a small farm outside of Toppenish. They then built their retirement home together in Prosser in 1994. Cope and Jerry spent 57 years enjoying life together. She loved traveling and the outdoors, camping, fishing and hunting with her husband and family. Copel also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, as she watched them grow. Copel's most enjoyable employment was tying flies for Rowberry's Sporting Goods in Toppenish and Yakima Bait Company in Granger. She finished her many years of employment as a cook for the Toppenish School District, serving meals to students at McKinley and Mt Adams Schools. Copel also spent countless hours at a labor of love, working in the family vineyard. Preceding Copel in death was the love of her life and husband Gerald Holwegner, on February 25th, 2004. Copel also lost her granddaughter, Shayla Holwegner and many other loved ones, too numerous to mention. Surviving Copel is her loving family; two daughters, Darlene Robillard and husband Gary, of Terrace Heights, Vickey Tebb and husband Tom, of Prosser; two sons, Gary Holwegner and wife Debbie of Grandview and Michael Holwegner and wife Renee of Yakima, WA; eight grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dazie Davis of Portland, Hazel Adkinson of Moses Lake; two brothers, Bill Morrow of Zillah and Loren Morrow of Yakima. Shayla Mae Holwegner, Copals Grandaughter is buried at the Terrace Heights Memorial Park. (Find A Grave Memorial# 40489103.)
