Description	:	Mrs. Cora Toren Called By Death Cora Addie Frantz, daughter of Milton and Isabel Frantz, was born July 22, 1882 near St. John, Kas. When she was a small child, the family moved to a farm southwest of Geneva, where she grew up. She was married to Victor E. Toren on February 9, 1910. To this union were born two children, Arthur and May, now Mrs. Wilbur Anderson, both of Geneva. Read More	Mrs. Cora Toren Called By Death Cora Addie Frantz, daughter of Milton and Isabel Frantz, was born July 22, 1882 near St. John, Kas. When she was a small child, the family moved to a farm southwest of Geneva, where she grew up. She was married to Victor E. Toren on February 9, 1910. To this union were born two children, Arthur and May, now Mrs. Wilbur Anderson, both of Geneva. She joined the Methodist church of Geneva as a young woman and continued her membership until her death. Mr. & Mrs. Toren spent their life on the farm until 13 years ago, when they retired from the farm and moved to Geneva. However her thoughts were always of the farm. Mr. Toren passed away June 25, 1957. She became ill June 21 and was not considered serious until July 6, when she entered the Fillmore County Hospital, where she passed away July 27, 1965, at the age of 83 years and 5 days. She leaves to mourn her passing her son Arthur and her daughter May, a son-in-law Wilbur Anderson, two granddaughters, Joann and Bonnie Anderson, and one sister, Miss Rosa Frantz, all of Geneva, several nieces and nephews and host of friends. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 30, at the Kritner-Farmer Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Merrill Willis of Geneva, district superintendent of the Methodist church, officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon A. Johnson, accompanied by Mrs. Willard Foster sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Goring Down the Valley." Pallbearers were Lambert Hopken, Richard Janing, Donald Kimbrough, Francis Kimbrough, Waldo Schinzel and Norman Yates. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery.
