Description	:	FRANTZ, JOHN WESLEY WESLEY--Wesley Frantz of Geneva passed away Saturday morning, May 9, 1953, at a Lincoln hospital following an illness of several months. He was 80 years, 7 months and 23 days of age. John Wesley Frantz, son of Milton M. and Isabelle Frantz, was born September 16, 1872, at Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Read More	FRANTZ, JOHN WESLEY WESLEY--Wesley Frantz of Geneva passed away Saturday morning, May 9, 1953, at a Lincoln hospital following an illness of several months. He was 80 years, 7 months and 23 days of age. John Wesley Frantz, son of Milton M. and Isabelle Frantz, was born September 16, 1872, at Wilkes-Barre, Pa. When seven years old his family moved to a farm near Saint John, Kas. They moved to a farm near Geneva when Mr. Frantz was 15 years old and he continued to live in this vicinity until the time of his death. December 8, 1895, he was united in marriage to Anna Harrison. To this union was born two children, a son Harry of Geneva and a daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Velma) Slaybaugh of Vinton, Ia. Mrs. Frantz passed away January 18, 1946. Following the death of his wife, he continued to reside on the farm about two years, after which he moved to Geneva where he spent the remainder of his life. In addition to his two children he is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Ida Neiman, Mrs. Victor Torren and Miss Rose Frantz, all of Geneva, and many other relatives. Funeral services were held Monday, May 11, at 2 o'clock at the Hrubesky-Farmer funeral home in Geneva. Rev. L. E. Werner of the Geneva Congregational church officiated. Vocal soloist was Mrs. H. E. Goodrich of Geneva with Mrs. Willard Foster, of Geneva playing the piano accompaniment. Mrs. Goodrich sang "In the Garden" and "The Old Rugged Cross." Pallbearers were Wilbur Anderson, John Freeman, Leslie Pool, Melvin Ralston, Gus Schneider and Arthur Toren. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery. The Nebraska Signal May 1953
