Description	:	From an Ida Grove newspaper: Cora Cecelia Andre, daughter of Jonathan and Mary Andre, was born in New Garden, Ohio, July 27, 1858. She moved with her parents to Scott Co., Iowa, in the year of 1861. In 1877 she was united in marriage to Alytte A. Dunn, at New Sharon. They moved to Ida County immediately following their marriage and resided here for many years. The husband passed away at Ida Grove in 1907. Read More	From an Ida Grove newspaper: Cora Cecelia Andre, daughter of Jonathan and Mary Andre, was born in New Garden, Ohio, July 27, 1858. She moved with her parents to Scott Co., Iowa, in the year of 1861. In 1877 she was united in marriage to Alytte A. Dunn, at New Sharon. They moved to Ida County immediately following their marriage and resided here for many years. The husband passed away at Ida Grove in 1907. To this union were born three children, of these two, Mrs. Margaret Hickman of Los Angeles, California, and Verlin A. Dunn of Rock Valley, survive, the other child having died in infancy. The greater part of her life was spent in the Ida Grove community, later years at Kingsley, and passed away November 5, 1946, at the home of her daughter, Margaret, in Los Angeles, while there on a visit having reached the age of 88 years, three months and nine days. Since the death of the husband she made her home with her son, Virgil. She was a faithful member of the Methodist church, having taken membership with the church at Ida Grove and later transferred by letter to the Methodist church at Kingsley, at which place she held membership until her departing this life. She leaves eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was a kind and loving mother and neighbor, and has a host of relatives and friends who with the immediate family mourn her passing. She was a very active member of the Red Cross, worked during both World War I and World War II, and assisted with much knitting for the Ida Grove chapter during the late war. Funeral services were held from the Moore Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas B. Collins in charge. Interment was in the Ida Grove Cemetery.
