Mrs. Joseph Snurr, Sister of Miss Lillie Pearson of Auburn and of Roy and Will Pearson of Stella, Dies at Sumner, Where Funeral Is Largely Attended. Funeral services were held in the Methodist church at Sumner, Neb., over the remains of Mrs. Joseph Snurr, sister of Miss Lillie Pearson of this city, on Saturday, September 19, conducted by Rev. Moore, of the Christian church of Edyville, and the remains were laid to rest in the I. O. O. F. cemetery, at Sumner. The services were attended by a large number of friends and relatives of the deceased. Among those from out-of-town were Joseph Jr., for Exeter, J.O. Strohl, wife and daughter of Taylor, two sisters, Gertie Pearson and Mrs. Nellie Madley of Kansas City, her sister Miss Lillie Pearson of Auburn, her brothers Will and Roy Pearson of Stella and Mr. Snurr's sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Watson of Auburn. Music was furnished by Mesdames Mabel Millhouse and Becker, and Messrs. H. H. Scoville and G. E. Carlson, with Mrs. Mabel Virtue at the piano. The pallbearers were; H.S. and R. L. Clouse, J. H. and S. N. Eutsler, T. H. Cheney and J. P. Serr. Cora Elizabeth Pearson was born in Jaysville, Darke county, Ohio, July 31, 1868, and passed away at her home in Sumner, Neb., September 17, 1925, at the age of 57 years, one month and 17 days. She was united in marriage to Joseph Snurr May 1, 1913, moving thence to Sumner, Neb., where she resided until the time of her death. When 13 years of age she unite with the Methodist church of Stella, Neb., and remained a consistent Christian until the end. The many friends of the departed one here and elsewhere, and those of the bereaved husband and family will extend their heartfelt sympathy.
