Description	:	Cora Frances Douglas, daughter of Silas and Margaret Douglas was born at Rose Hill in Mahaska County, Iowa October 15, 1872. Here she grew to young womanhood and was united in marriage February 15, 1892 to Lewis Bridges. They resided on a farm in Mahaska County for nine years and on March 1, 1902 they moved to Franklin County where she passed away at her home on September 9, 1942. Taylor of Oskaloosa and Mrs. Arthur Wymore of Pacific Palisade, CA and three brothers: Willard Douglas of Oakland, CA; James Douglas of Rose Hill and Ray Douglas of Hammond, IN. There are also nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Bridges and Cora F. Douglas) from my own observation and research (I just dug out and dusted off my old notebooks to double check). Lew was listed as 23, she 21, which places her birth year as 1871. Also her death record states her birth year as 1871 (Franklin county death register book 5, page 23).
