Rev. Lloyd Scheerer was in charge of the services. Interment took place in the Aurelia cemetery. Cora L. Funeral services for Miss Cora Hale were held Friday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock at the Kroll Funeral Home. Rev. Lloyd Scheerer was in charge of the services. Interment took place in the Aurelia cemetery. Cora L. Hale was born at Montezuma,Iowa, June 7, 1872, and passed from this life at the home of her brother, Frank Hale, at Aurelia, Iowa, Tuesday morning, February 25, 1936, at the age of 63 years, 8 months, and 18 days. She moved with her parents to Audubon county as a child and lived there a number of years before making her home with her brother Frank. At the age of twenty-two she joined the Viola Evangelical church in Audubon county where she remained a member the rest of her life. She was one of a family of seven children, three sisters having preceded her in death. Surviving her are three brothers, Charles and Frank of Aurelia and Fred of Lake Park, Iowa, also several nieces and nephews. Although she was not privileged to have a home of her own, her life was spent in making other homes happy. To those of her loved ones she was unspeakably dear, and will be held by them in undying affection ,and imperishable remembrance. Nor will she be forgotten by those who have been privileged to call her friend. We can not believe that she is gone from us. Nor is she, for her immortal presence will live in the hearts of her loved ones, to cheer in trouble, encourage in difficulty, and influence for good.
