Obituary From “Ottumwa Courier,” January 14, 1947: Mrs. Cora Rolison Boliver, 74, died at 10 a.m. today at the home of her nephew, Carlton Rolison of 913 Clinton avenue. She was born November 5, 1872, at La Platta, Mo., the daughter of Joshua and Mary Rolison, and had been a resident of Ottumwa the past four years. She is survived by one brother, Daniel Rolison of Cedar Rapids, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack [sic] Boliver, her parents, one sister and four brothers. The body is at the Johnson funeral chapel pending completion of funeral arrangements. “BOLIVER SERVICES,” From “Ottumwa Courier,” January 15, 1947: Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Rolison Boliver, who died Tuesday at the home of her nephew, Carlton Rolison, 913 Clinton avenue, will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Johnson funeral chapel, conducted by Carl Nelson of the Church of Christ. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wilbur Rolison, Earl Rolison, Cortie Rolison, Carroll Rolison, Carlton Rolison and Albert LaRew.
