He was the son of Joshua H. and Mary O. Rolison both preceding him in death. He was married to Mary B. Weir of Leando Nov. 3, 1891. Five children were born to them: Mrs. Gladys Ford of Troy, Ia., Claude Rolison of St. Paul, Minn.; Clyde Rolison of Glendale, Calif.; Mrs. Clarence Ewing of Kilbourne; and infant son, Harry Rolison who passed away at the age of three years. He is also survived by two brothers and one sister, Dan Rolison of Cedar Rapids, Ia.; Vinson Rolison of Ottumwa and Mrs. Cora Boliver of Granite City, Ill., nine grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 5, at the Leando church in charge of Rev. James of Keosauqua. Interment in the Zion Lutheran cemetery beside his wife. **Handwritten: KEOS.
